End of week 7

Due to the team leader connections, he was able to find a brand new claw for free but only had to pay for the shipping price. The heat robotics have the biggest advantage with the claw but we are still having a lot of difficulties due to us not having sufficient motors. The claw needs a lot of power that we don't have, so the heat robotics are on the search for a big or small motor ( 1st period ) for all the south plantation high school robotics teams that are reading  our blog "if you have a motor let us know please, we will really appreciate it !!"

Our Robot Video

This is not the video we scored 75 points with, but here goes a little action. The person who is the lead control man is Jamesky Jean, The heat Robotics had a lot of difficulties and i am glad to see the robot on the tarmac.

New Challenge

Now the Heat Robotics are done with the tetrahedron challenge we are moving to the rocket ball challenge. The rocket challenge is when we get a small blue ball in a small plastic goal. The challenge has many difficulties, some of the difficulties we are facing is that the way our arm is step -up, we have to add a new motor and figure out a new mechanism.

End of week 5

The heat robotics are now done with everything and It's finally spring break!! After the team leader
( Jamesky Jean) came in early every morning for the past two weeks and even on our early release did not go to any classes just to complete the robot. We had to get help from an upperclassmen who name i don't remember, due to his outstanding dedication to the Heat Robotics robot we got a 75 out of 100, which is a very grade considering a lot of people received F"s.

week 5

The heat robotics is now done with the robot. But there is two big problem, which is that we haven't completed our arm yet and the robot is still not moving due to some bad programming. We have to move on and come back to it, so the heat robotics is now working on the structure for the arm lift which is not a easy task.

'Soildworks is not as easy as it was'

Heat robotics are facing a minor setback with Soildworks, due to us not using this program since freshman year. The hardest part for Heat robotics is placing the chassis rail with the bearing flat and also the  ½" hex screw. But Zach D finally figure it out and we are back on track.

End of week 3

The heat robotics are now in a very deep hole and is now out of pace to completing the robot on time. The issue we are facing is some gruesome assembly problems with the gears and the motors, now the heat robotics have to start from scratch and figure where we went wrong.
